words I hate

Ok so there are words that just irritate me for some reason.

ETA - Estimate Time of Arrival ..... or people use it in emails to get an idea when you will be completing a task .... to me it translates to "Hurry up and get this done!". Really the more they ask the less I pay attention to the task ;-). It's just lame too. The only time I'd actually use it is if I have to ask FEDEX the status of a shipment.

Ping me - Ping is a term in the technological world to see if a remote machine is active on the network and can be contacted. But people in the tech industry use it as part of their communication lingo and try to make it sound cool. Example "Hello Joe, I will ping you before you go to lunch". To me that's like talking warcraft, Klingon nuqDaq 'oH puchpa''e' (yes this is real I found it on the net ;-) )......it just aint cool.

recon - what the hell is that word? Looking it up in Merriam-Webster recon is a referrence to reconnaissance. But I don't think that's right? I've heard George Bush Jr. say that word.....If the president says the word "recon" in his speeches then it better be in the dictionary!

I think those are the top 3 on my list of words I hate. Any of you guys got any other ones?
