War Pisses Me Off

Every single time I see articles about how our US military lost another man it really pisses me off. I'm not pissed at the people responsible for shooting the helicopters or ambushes, I'm pissed off at the people responsible for sending them.

I remember when I was little kid I used to have a set of plastic set of toy soldiers. I lay out my German troops out and my brother would take is British troops and kick my ass. I'd stand up and stomp all over his plastic figurines in retaliation. We were careless with our plastic figurines because they were cheap, not important, and replaceable. If one of our figurines broke, heck we toss it and buy more at the local toy store.

I really don't think when the president or politicians make a decision to send troops overseas acknowledge troops as a "thing" rather than a group of people. I see the George Bush and his politician fellows as the boy who owns the plastic figurines making careless decisions. If one dies then he/she will get replaced by another soldier. Politicians don't reeeallly understand these are human beings and not just replaceable "things". They have family's and kids. You think they really give a shit? NO cause it's not them or any of their family members ding.

Really these politicians aren't in it for the people....It's a freaken popularity contest and corporations paying them under the table to bend rules to prevent certain laws from passing. If anyone has a chance to win presidency it's Arnold, the current governator of California.
