It's snowing!

Finally I've been waiting all year for this. It's odd cause usually there's enough snow for resorts to open up usually Thanks Giving Weekend. Time to bust out the board and tune it up.

Black Friday ... worth it or not?

Check out the adds for friday's early morning shopping spree. Are these discounts really worth waking up at the butt crack of dawn and run around like a bunch of chickens? You're not gauranteed to get the item unless you line up at the store 5 hours before they open. It seems like every store is opening up at 5 am! "wow I got a DVD for 5 bucks and all I had to do was wait in line for 5 hours, sacrafice sleep, and play tug - o - war with an 80 year old lady over the Mary Poppins DVD edition"

The new mayor of Hillsdale Michigan is a highschool senior? I'm thinking well maybe this guy is pretty well involved in politics and knows how to walk the walk and talk the talk....then I saw his interview....

ummm I think this kid was running as a joke and people voted for him as a joke. I don't think people were really thinking he'd win....right?

We'll it's probably not the oddest thing you'll hear about Michigan. I heard if you walk into bank and open an account they give you a free shotgun! Aint that sweeet! Now I can take that shotgun and point it to a tellers face and ask for all the money in the vault.

Proposed ban on Cells and Segways at national parks

I found this article about how senators want to baned cell phone usage and segways from national parks. I could understand they want to keep the park peaceful and stuff. But damn...they should start by banning old farts to bring in the freaken RV's with 10 satellite dishes, 3 ham radio antenas, 3 CB antennas, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, a fridge , two TV....and a kitchen sink. The way I see it a cell and a segway are just little things. I'd actually keep cell access in case someone gets stranded on the road.

Damn .... my tax dollars are paying for stupid people to make stupid decisions.
